Cupping
Cupping is an ancient traditional and complimentary medicine practice which involves a glass, plastic, or silicone cup applied over the skin of the affected area. Inside the cup will then reach a subatmospheric pressure by way of suction. There are a few different ways of cupping, static and dynamic. Static cupping involves laying still while the cups are applied. The cups then will either stay still through the entirety of the treatment or your doctor may decide to move the cups around to stimulate a larger area. Dynamic cupping involves the placement of cups to the affected area. Then your doctor will direct you through a series of movements to target the muscles we are directly working with.
