Rehabilitation
There are many reasons why someone presenting to a chiropractor may need some form of rehabilitation that is complimentary to their adjustment. Rehab can be in the forms of range of motion (ROM) exercises, stretching, and several different phases of strengthening. Rehab will be taught by your doctor and they will instruct you how often and how long to hold or how many reps are needed. With rehabilitation, we start with ROM, then progress to stretching, then finally we will progress to strengthening. All of these are different phases of your care and essential to helping restore motion and function. Rehab is an ACTIVE part of most care. This means we will give you the tools to perform all of your rehab and you must put in the work. I can help you get out of pain, but the key to staying out of pain happens with your consistent work outside of the office.
